1998年発表のメイヤのセカンド・アルバム『セブン・シスターズ』からのシングルです。メイヤの最大のヒット曲になるのかな？ 私もこの曲でメイヤを知ったしなんなら洋楽をどんどん聞くようになったのがこの曲キッカケってくらいの曲です。
しかし当時中学2年生で歌詞なんて気にせず聞いていたんですが、結構暗い歌詞の歌なんだなと今訳していて思いました。
