①In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti until al dente. Near the end of the time, reserve a mugful of starchy pasta water.
②Whilst cooking spaghetti, in another large pot over medium heat, heat a half tablespoonful of olive oil. Add pasted garlic, tuna, chopped tomato and chopped basil. Cook until juices are released. Season with salt, pepper, and instant consomme.
③Add spaghetti and pasta water. And toss to combine.
前に一度日本語でレシピを書いたものを英語にしてみました。材料とか絶対に通じるし。
前回の英語レシピよりも少し細かく書いてみました。分量全く書いてないけど！
そして今回元にしたレシピがイギリス人の方のレシピだったのですが、初めて "Whilst" という単語を知りました。私が勉強してきた英語では "While" と来るべき箇所にあったのとまぁ綴りからも意味は同じなんだろうなと想像がつきましたが、イギリスとアメリカで「～する間」の言い方が違うなんて知らなかったなぁ。私が不勉強なだけなんだろうけども。
